HydraForce to Present Technical Paper at IFPE 2014
HydraForce will present a technical paper at IFPE 2014 titled, “Using Simulation to Create Real Efficiency in Hydraulic Control Systems” on Wednesday, March 5 from 9:45 to 10:15 a.m. in South Hall, Bridge Meeting Complex in Las Vegas. The paper will describe how HydraForce applies simulation tools to optimize not only the design of its cartridge valves but also the efficiency of the hydraulic circuits that use them.
Four case histories will be presented:
Efficient Clutch Control
Smaller Valve, Higher Flow
Remote Load Sensing
Troubleshooting from a Distance
There will be an opportunity to meet the speakers and ask questions.
Multi-Function Valves for Flow-Sharing, Load-Holding
Meet the HSPEC family of multi-function valves. HSPEC valves combine multiple control functions in a single cartridge. They come in two configurations: the HSPECxx-30 for flow-sharing and the HSPECxx-34 for low leakage load-holding. Both configurations are rated for high-pressure operation - 350 bar continuous / 410 bar intermittent).
The HSPECxx-30 combines an electro-proportional flow control valve, a post-compensator and a load sense valve in a single cavity. There are three flow ratings: 34 lpm (9 gpm), 61 lpm (16 gpm) and 132 lpm (35 gpm).
The HSPECxx-34 combines a poppet-style electro-proportional flow control valve with a sealed internal compensator. It has three flow ratings: 38 lpm (10 gpm); 68 lpm (18 gpm) and 98 lpm (26 gpm).
HSPEC valves enable more responsive, compact and efficient lifting, lowering and motion control. Their ability to enable ideal motion control via flow control meter-in / pressure control meter-out in a tunable package is a unique feature in the industry that can offer significant energy savings.
INTEGR8 engineered hydraulic control solutions for cylinders and motors
HydraForce will feature INTEGR8 engineered hydraulic control solutions for cylinders and motors.
Take the guesswork out of hydraulic circuit design with the INTEGR8 line of optimally paired cartridge valves. You can use INTEGR8 in combination with i-Design circuit design software, which can be downloaded at no cost from the HydraForce web site, www.hydraforce.com. i-Design now has more than 60 options of optimally paired INTEGR8 schematics that can be dragged and dropped onto a hydraulic schematic to make custom manifold circuit design easier.
If you still have questions, visit HydraForce at Booth 80930. Application Engineers will be on staff to help visitors design a system using i-Design, and if desired export the circuit into Automation Studio™ to simulate and optimize the design.
The latest HyPerformance and corrosion-resistant valves for use on excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers, attachments and other mobile construction equipment will also be displayed at IFPE/CONEXPO.
We look forward to seeing you at the show!
